Danny Beeler stepped on the scale in front of the Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas and got the shock of his life. What started as a "I wonder if I can get a free burger?" moment (HAG lets anyone over 350 pounds eat for free) turned into a "I can't believe I weigh 455 pounds!" shock. In this episode we talk about the two words said to him that really got his journey started and the discovery of a passion that has helped him drop 165 pounds so far.

Jordon Hurd first appeared on the Forum in June of 2020 (Episode 76!) where he shared his journey from 660 pounds to losing over 300 pounds. Almost three years later he returns to not only update us on what has happened since but to dive into the discoveries he's made about the mental health challenges that come with massive weight loss. This week's guest's journey is a bit different than others you have heard. Often I speak to guys who have recently hit their goals or are still working on them. Rob's journey started when he graduated high school at 350 pounds and we're talking around 20 years later. The decades between not only contain a massive weight loss, some periods of regain but also the discovery of a health issue that threatened his life. How he came through it all exemplifies the importance of telling the stories I do here on the show. Each is unique, but each provides lessons for us all! Rob's is no different in that way!
