At 411 pounds, Ernie was told by a doctor to prepare himself for needing disability soon if he didn't do something about his health. A lifelong food addict he wasn't sure if he would be able to make that change but he found motivation in wanting to be a present and healthy father for his children. Stepping into a gym was a big part of the action he needed, and a true mindset shift was the buried treasure he discovered. Applying it to all areas of his life including his relationship with food was key to the success he has today.
