On this week's new episode we find out how a health scare in 2022 lead Johnny Muresan to realize he needed to define a new standard for his life. At 497 he knew the road ahead would not be short or easy but he knew he was ready to start running towards the life he wanted for himself and his family. Johnny is down over 115 pounds now and is training for a marathon! His story is one of persistence, growth and managing change in a sustainable fashion so that he knows he is not just chasing a quick fix. With a focus on dedication and realizing that he is humble enough to know he doesn't have all the answers, Johnny's strides are inspiring and impressive to say the least! Don't miss this discussion!

Dane Lyon's journey is best described as a rollercoaster, and it's not just because of the significance an actual rollercoaster plays in it! Dane was almost 600 pounds and currently down over 311 pounds, and that path has not been a straight line. This week's guest Jamie Fisher decided that life at 715 pounds was not really living at all, just existing, and he began his journey to find the right tools to help him thrive! We speak of his use of high fat keto, weight loss surgery and GLP-1 medication, not because any one tool failed but because Jamie had to use them together when needed to fight this battle, not just for himself but for his family.
He is now down 336 pounds and still fighting for his life!

It's funny but this week's guest Jonathan Elias hit upon one of his strongest messages in the final seconds of the podcast when he said that he knew he would be successful in reclaiming his health, "by any means necessary." This doesn't mean he had to sacrifice his health or compromise himself by any means, but that he had to be willing to do the work to find the right tools for himself and apply them! Adam Golway first appeared on the Forum in episode 165 in 2022. At that time we talked about his amazing weight loss transformation, struggles with addiction and more. He reached out to return to the show because his own personal work on what drove his experiences with drugs and food have uncovered trauma that he feels it is important to talk about so others know they are not alone. How do you get to your goal and then find yourself having to "run that race" again? Jeff is honest about the impact life getting in the way, and the excuses we build around that impacted his health. His story is one of perseverance with real lessons for anyone who has felt trapped on the weight loss and gain rollercoaster. We also talk about the messages we see in the weight loss social media space, specifically from coaches making promises that sound attractive but just aren't real. In the end it took Jeff being brutally honest with himself to achieve his goals, and discover that his race will never really end and that is okay!!!
