We discuss the ups and downs of his weight loss journey, including seeing over 500 pounds on the scale and realizing that he had to be honest with himself in the end. We also discuss his controversial Instagram handle, @fatpeopleareliars, which is actually less about judging others and more about judging himself. It's a hard but important discussion on the role of trauma, healing, truth and lies during a weight loss journey.

Jade Wurth had struggled with his weight for much of his life but in 2019 after an injury sent him to a very dark place personally he topped 400 pounds on the scale, in addition to battling with drugs and alcohol. He joins me this week to talk about his journey out of that dark place mentally and into a spot where he chooses himself and his health over the comforts of addiction.
